A Girl Of Many Hats

It all started when Morgan was about

3 months old. Well actually, earlier than that,

but I can distinctly remember one day when she

was about 3 months old when we

were sitting in church (where all the interesting

stories come from, because what parent can actually pay

attention in sacrament when they have

a kid?) and JD starts putting Morgan's little stuffed dog

on her head.Well, here we are a little over a year later,

and the kid cannot stop putting things on her head.

I've decided she feels that if it can balance,

that is where it belongs.

Wet paper towel? Good hat. One of the

FIVE MILLION tupperware she pulled

out of my cupboard? Good hat.

Bowl full of tuna? Great hat.

An actual hat? Never gonna happen.

The Strawberry Stealer

Morgan has a thing for strawberries, what can I say? We have 3 strawberry plants in our garden (which I am very proud of) and that girl just cannot stay away from them. When we go outside, I have to turn the sprinkler on around the garden as a detterent, and yes, she has waded through
the marshy grassland with squinty eyes (to keep the terrible sprinkler shower out) to get to those tasty fruits.
But I will say, she picked a green one the other day, and it was only about the size of a nickel, and she tried and tried to bite into that sucker, and there would be no getting into a strawberry that tough, so she has learned that the green ones are off limits.

It is a sad day for her Dad when he has been watching a strawberry for days, just waiting for it to be ready to munch, and when he comes home, it is no longer available due to his daughter's grazing. Poor JD.
