The almost final product:

So, here is the hair:

(For some reason this picture makes the back look kind of mullety, but its not, its just the lighting I think)

I say "almost final" because I still have the color to do, which I am kind of nervous about but we will see how it goes.

I also want to tell you that my husband is such a MAN. I asked him to take some pictures of my hair, and these are the pictures I got:

Just not exactly what a woman would think of as "hair pictures"

So silly.

From this day forward...

From this day forward our lives are going to be excruciatingly more complicated. This morning, at approximately 9:04 a.m. our little girl learned how to work a door knob. What more need I say?

What do you think?

So, I am getting the itch to cut my hair again! (Its just seriously so dead from doing the blonde thing last year I really need to cut off another 6 inches!) Here is the cut I am thinking about going with, tell me what you think please!

Thank you, Dead Guys, for my Sanity!

There are some people I feel deserve a HUGE thank you for their contribution to society, and even though they are long gone, they make my life easier everyday!

1. The McKiver Brothers: These guys invented play-doh as a wallpaper cleaner, then realized it made a great toy, and ended up making millions by their mid-twenties. Without Play-doh, I think I'd lose my mind!

2. Edwin Binney: The founder of Crayola. Enough said.

3. Chemtoy: (so this last one is a whole company, but still) Chemtoy was the first company to manufacture bubbles with a wand. Seriously, bubbles have the amazing ability to make any crying kid happy, especially mine!

So yes, I may have spent ten minutes of my day researching who did all this stuff, but I figure its the least I can do to actually give these guys some credit, considering I owe them my mind and all.

MONKEY PARTY!

When I realized Morgan was old enough to throw her a birthday party with her friends, I was SO excited. Not thinking I would really get an answer, I asked her what kind of party she wanted. Her response?

"Ummmm, MONKEY PARTY!"

Here is how it turned out:

All three kids swinging together, Morgan would look from Keegan on one side to Brandon on the other and say, "Keegan friend! Brandon Friend! Swingin!"

I made these monkey ear headbands last minute, I am glad I didn't spend more time on them, cause they stayed on for about a half a second!

We played a monkey bean bag toss, with tiny banana bean bags to throw into their mouths

So the cupcakes were MUCH easier than the whole cake! I am actually pretty proud of how these turned out!

The kids decided to take a small break to enjoy the treats before opening presents

I think Keegan was more excited about Morgan's presents than she was!

And Brandon snuck under the table with the present they brought for her, he was GOING to play with it!

Keegan and Morgan are always so sweet, I just love when we hang out with them. Keegan looks like he is only giving Morgan half a hug, but really its because he has some smarties stashed in his pocket that he was NOT going to let go of!

But I think the real highlight of the weekend was that Morgan's cousins, Mac and Elly, were able to come visit. They moved away right before Christmas, and Morgan is always SO excited to see them. As you can see, they just love seeing her too!

I've been stickered!

Morgan really REALLY REALLY likes stickers. Can you tell?
